DONALD
E. ROWSON
9142 Golden Street
Alta Loma, CA 91701
While putting himself through school, Don Rowson was an
oilfield roustabout in Santa Paula, California, and later
became the plant operator for the Beverly Hills Water &
Power Company. He began his employment with Suburban Gas in
1956 and worked his way from LP Gas Serviceman to Southern
California Regional Manager in 11 years, at which time he was
presented the opportunity, as Director, to form Industrial
Hydrocarbons, Inc.
The corporation was founded by Donald Rowson in April of 1966
as a subsidiary of Suburban Gas Company. In 1970, he purchased
the young company from Suburban, ran it as a family
corporation, and built it to an organization of 30 employees,
which sold over 30,000,000 pounds of hydrocarbons,
fluorocarbons and chlorinated solvents per year.
With the sale of the chemical division in 1984, Industrial
Hydrocarbons became a fully dedicated consulting firm
specializing in life, health and environmental safety and
property protection.
