AEROSOL PRODUCT STORAGE AND WAREHOUSING

1.Code consulting regarding the design, construction, and operation of aerosol product storage facilities, including:

a. Building Code occupancy classifications
  b. Building construction type determinations
  c. Determination of allowable building heights and areas
  d. Determination of structural fire resistance requirements
  e. Determination and review of building exiting requirements
  f. Requirements for fire separation walls
  g. Sprinkler system installation requirements
  h. Fire protection water supply requirements
  i. Fire alarm and detection system requirements
  j. Product storage limitations

2. Negotiations with Building Code and Fire Code enforcement personnel regarding code interpretations applicable to aerosol product storage facilities.

3. Assist in determination of aerosol commodity classifications, in accordance with NFPA 30B, ICC/International Fire & Building Codes, and local Building Code and Fire Code requirements.

4. Surveys of existing facilities, or due diligence surveys of proposed facilities, to determine compliance with the requirements for aerosol product storage, in accordance with NFPA 30B, ICC/International Fire & Building Codes, and local Building Code and Fire Code requirements.

5. Specification and design of automatic sprinkler systems for solid pile, palletized, and rack storage of aerosol products, and the design of water supply systems, and fire water storage and pump installations.

6. Specification and design of fire alarm and detection systems for aerosol product storage facilities.

7. Hydraulic analysis of existing sprinkler systems to determine their suitability for protection of aerosol product storage, and the development of recommendations and cost estimates for required sprinkler system modifications to comply with Code requirements.

8. Preparation of high-piled storage permit package submittals, including storage layout drawings, in accordance with local Fire Code requirements.

9. Preparation of hazardous materials permit package submittals, in accordance with local Fire Code requirements.
